Elval receives ISO 45001:2018 certification

 
“Safeguarding Health and Safety in the workplace is a strategic choice for Elval”
 
Elval has received certification for compliance with the new ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management standard. The new certification replaced Elval’s existing OHSAS 18001:2007 and was issued by TUV HELLAS after a demanding evaluation process and a thorough onsite audit.
 
Manolis Fytros, Elval’s Health & Safety Director commented on the accreditation; “With this internationally acknowledged certification, we demonstrate our commitment to the safety and health of our workforce. Elval fosters a healthy work environment by continuously improving employee safety, reducing workplace risks and creating better and safer working conditions, for all employees”.
 
Elval places particular importance on implementing Integrated Health and Safety Management to proactively improve its Occupational Health and Safety performance. Our efforts focus not only on preventing work-related injury and ill-health but also integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as the wellness and well-being of our people.
